Wow, what a great buying experience. When you are going from a class A to a fifth wheel there are lots of challenges. The team at Hanner RV went above and beyond to make sure we got a great deal on a great trailer. Starting with a fast response from Anders to my online inquiry, to a great first call with Sydney and getting all the final details worked out with Sydney and Lance, we had a great buying experience. There were of course a few unforeseen details and all of them were handled smoothly. We drive 2 hours to buy from Hanner when we could have bought the same trailer in our home town. Service, responsiveness and fair dealing go a long way with me when making a deal. I already had to call due to my unfamiliarity with fifth wheels and Chad and Bobby were great to educate me.

The guys here were so professional and saved my day! I highly recommend them to anybody that has service work for their rv. As soon as I walked in I was greeted in a friendly manner. I want to thank Shane for helping me. I walked in and told him exactly what I wanted, and he made it happen. We had everything done and taken care of in less than an hour. He had zero issues getting things to my credit union. He kept me in the loop with my camper and it's estimated arrival at the dealership. When I went to pick it up, he was just as willing to help. Hanner RV is by far the best RV dealership in Abilene. Sydney helped me over several days and months to narrow down the best RV for me, and then Daniel, at the RV show worked with me to purchase my new 2026 Bullet. Since it was the RV show - they threw in several incentives - so many I couldn't pass up. :)

Lance and Sydney were phenomenal through the whole process. Everything was ready to go on our arrive giving us a seamless no stress transition into our new Rockwood. Thank god it was too because on our 2 hour commute to Hanner we started having problems with our Chevy truck.
Sydney went above and beyond for us and contacted the Hanner's Chevrolet dealership (right down the road) who was able to get us in.
Mike our service tech not only did a great walk through but was able to install our sway bar with a same day request.

Just wanted to say how much I appreciate the people at Hanner RV. They have always been polite courteous and helpful! Wow!!! Chad has spent time with me on the phone discussing all sorts of issues regarding my rv with me. He has literally spent countless hours of his time educating me on specific items regarding plumbing, electrical, etc. I did not buy my rv from Hanner only because I did not have a vehicle to tow with at the time I was going to purchase my rv. They had the rv in stock, however, when I did get a tow vehicle the unit was sold. But let me tell you they have all my service business going on two or three years now. If I ever want to buy another rv it will be from them!!

Can't say enough about the team at Hanner RV. First time I showed up I was just looking at a particular RV, Lance got the keys and opened the trailer and let me and the wife spend as much time in the unit as we wanted without bother us, I grab his card and said thank you and goodbye. A few days later we started talking again and he was very transparent and up front about my trade as well as what he could do on the new unit. Needless to say, we made the deal happen and it has been a smooth and easy buying experience. Everyone has been extremely helpful, even staying later to walk us through the new unit and even setting up the weight distribution hitch on my truck the day before Thanksgiving. We will definitely be shopping at Hanner RV in the future if we buy another Travel Trailer!
I needed to replace my toilet in my older motorhome and Clint and Corey hooked me up with not only the parts I needed, but took the time to not only explain to me how to fix it, but also showed me a couple things to look out for when I take apart the plumbing parts. We bought our fifth wheel from Hannah RV in 2019. We live 90 miles from their dealership. When we need any kind of work done, we are willing to drive that 90 miles there and back because they are great to work with, Especially Bobby, the service manager. Replaced our RV roof that had a 10 year warranty. 3 years later it is peeling up and they feel it may be due to the new membrane being faulty. They are working with us and going to replace it. Should take a week. Quick turn around for RV repair. Thank you.

We took our 5th wheel RV in for a detailed inspection and repair. Not only did they do top notch work, they were friendly and easy to work with. When it came time to pick up our RV, our truck broke down and had to go in the shop. Hanner let us leave the trailer there free of charge while we waited on truck repairs for almost 2 months. Hanner RV service center is top notch!! We had previously had our RV serviced at Clear Creek RV lastspring, but they did a terrible job. The side seals were not replaced with the correct ones. David and his staff took off the wrong ones and replaced them with the correct ones. The sides close correctly! We recommend Hanner RV to all our friends!! Great job!

I decided to drive 2.5 hrs to Hanner RV for a Jayco that I was looking for. Well, I am glad I did. Prices are very fair, if not better, than the DFW area dealers. The purchase process was so smooth. Brooke in Sales did a great job. She even came in on her off day to meet me. She was informative and straightforward. Jose also did great with the walk-through and set-up of the WDH. Clint in the Parts department gave me suggestions on what add-ons and parts I should consider for my new camper. Hanner RV has seemed to train their workers to provide great customer service as their number one objective. Exceptional service is extremely hard to find in this industry, but I am more than happy to give Chad and the service team a 5 star rating. We were in dire need of a third AC to combat this TX heat (traveling from Georgia). Chad worked hard to earn our business. We received callbacks with answers to questions, emails with quotes and additional info, and an overall courteous and professional attitude. On the day of service, all steps in the process were explained and the couple of challenges (faults of the manufacturer) were discussed prior to repairs being completed. The technician was equally helpful. His attention to detail has not been overlooked. For example, taking additional time to ask exactly where to mount the thermostat (wife is only 5 ft tall), adding additional ducting tape in excess of the manufacturer's specs, and taking an additional 15-20 minutes answering questions from an inquisitive customer.
Now, I have a happy family in a very cool 2022 Highland Ridge Open Range 395 BH 5th wheel. I only wish Hanner was closer to home. Thanks for a.great experience guys! If we need anything else, I will consider driving across country just to get it done there.
We purchased our new travel trailer August 2, 2023. Sydney was the salesperson who showed us around, she pushed nothing on us and let us take our time on looking at travel trailers. Sydney also tried to help us save money and this shows that she really cares about the customer. When we picked up our travel trailer today, Mike was the one who gave us the walk-around. Mike helped us connect the trailer hitch and took the time to make sure we were all setup before we took off. If you are looking to buy an RV, this place should be your first stop. Great service department. Bobby went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Worked with Forrest River on a problem that was not warranted but got the whole repair taken care. Forrest River covered the repairs even though they didn’t have too and I didn’t ask them to cover the cost.

Hanner RV has been extremely helpful and intentional the whole process of me finding a camper to live in full time and their customer service! My dad accidentally had the keys locked inside of the camper and hammer rv sent someone out hours out of the way to unlock it for us!! When we picked it up the owner even brought it down on his own personally. He gave us tons of information and the best help out of all camper/rv places! definitely recommend !
This is a really nice store and very big and is stocked with everything you need. They also offer a large variety of RV services to accommodate any repair scenario that one might encounter with RV ownership, such as roofing, sealing, weatherization, windows and door replacements...etc. Very knowledgeable staff and this store carries just about every brand name item and supplies associated with your RV ownership.
Clint McArthur provided exceptional information and customer service when we purchased a new Cummins/Onan P4500i Inverter; he made the extra effort to give us the best deal and most timely shipping option possible. His priority was to get this generator to us ASAP -we received it in 3 days, just in time for the 4th of July! Awesome! Thanks Clint, I'll sure send anyone your way for parts or equipment.

I had a great purchasing experience with Hanner. Since I am out of state I had to do everything remotely. Sydney and Jennice were very helpful in answering my questions and getting me squared away with my unit. Sydney worked patiently with my delivery limitations and my unit was delivered in the right time-frame. I love my trailer. I do have one issue that needs to be tended to but thankfully I got the extended warranty plan that allows a person to come onsite and tend to any problems covered by the warranty. I'm very thankful that I got that coverage.
UPDATE 6/26/2023: I've upgraded my rating to 5 stars for excellent customer service. Chad from the service department was very helpful in assisting me with getting the service / parts issue resolved that I needed. Be mindful if you're having a trailer delivered long distances that things can get wiggled loose during transit and may need some attention after delivery. As stated previously I am very pleased with my trailer and happy with my purchase and interactions with Hanner RV. I would highly recommend them and their team of professionals.

Rob, our salesman, was excellent! He searched long and hard to find us a travel trailer. We had a long list of "wishes" so it wasn't easy for him. He followed us through the day of delivery and even threw in a few extras. He gets a 5 star rating!
The reason for the 4 star was the service department. Mike did our walk-through. During our delivery walk-through with Mike, my wife noticed that one of the supports for the table-to-bed conversion was missing a screw. He assured me that he would take care of that. When we got home with the trailer, the screw was rolling around on the floor. Not really a huge deal, but... When I put the stabilizers down, one was very bent. I texted Rob and the service manager called. After several exchanges of pictures and information, we were told that they had a stabilizer to replace it with. We made an appointment to take it in to have the new stabilizer put on while we waited. After waiting for an hour and a half, a salesman (Michael) came to check on us and offer us some water. I asked if he would check the progress of our repair. He came back quickly and apologized "on behalf of Hanner RV", saying that our trailer had been ready for half an hour and we hadn't been informed. When we went to our camper to head home, I checked the new stabilizer. One of the screws holding it on wasn't screwed all the way in. I went to the service area and was followed back to the camper by Mike. Mike tightened the screw and said something about him not putting them all the way down when he checked out the trailer because they never replaced them.
Everyone we dealt with there was friendly and professional, except Mike. Mike shouldn't deal with customers. He doesn't seem to have a sense of pride in his work, and he has an attitude of superiority. He wasn't exactly rude, but he did talk to me like I was ignorant both during the walk-through and the stabilizer replacement.
Rob is excellent to work with. No pressure and takes his time to make sure customers get to see all options and have all questions answered. This is the second RV trailer we’ve bought from Rob. I definitely recommend checking out Hanner before purchasing.
We are very glad that Chris works at this RV Dealer, he was able to make us happy again fixing our RV. It is very hard to find great workers like him.

We were looking to downsize from a 36’ 5th wheel to a smaller bumper pull rv. We found a floor plan and size we were interested in and went to look at it. They found that model and a few others that were similar. We settled on on one and asked about our trade in. We were upside down in it, but they worked with us to make things work. There were some complications but they were great to deal with.
When we went to pick up the trailer, they kept working to give us a great deal.
When they went over the trailer the technician was patient and showed us everything.
Everyone was friendly and very easy to work with. We will be customers from now on.

We have purchased our fourth RV at Hanner RV and I would highly recommend them. Our salesman, Rob Robertson, was attentive to every detail and if he did not have the answer, he offered to find it. He did what he said he would do and was very enjoyable and professional in the way he went about the sale. Lance Finley, the sales manager, was also very professional and helpful. Our walk through on pickup day was very detailed, by Russell, and allowed plenty of time for lots of questions. Every experience with Hanner RV has always been this way. This will always be our #1 choice when purchasing any RV.
Mike Adams is one of the techs there and was more than willing to take time to come talk to me about my Girard tankless water heater and the issues I was having. Living full time in my RV he saved me the hassle of packing up my stuff and bringing it in for service when it was only a simple adjustment!
Also - Christian is your GO TO guy for parts. Very knowledgeable and always pleasant to do business with. Nice to have folks like these locally when most people have turned to online shopping for their things.
